A.P. Moller - Maersk has taken delivery of The World'S first Container Vessels Operating on Green Methanol. On July 10, The company has signed and taken delivery of the vessel, HMD Hull 4168, built at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co., Ltd. and Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd 

The introduction of newbuilt container vessel is a significant step towards realizing Maersks' commitment to becoming carbon neutral, and it marks the beginning of a new era in shipping, where the company can minimize greenhouse gas emissions and create a greener future. The vessel is now preparing to embark on her maiden voyage towards Copenhagen.

A.P. Moller - Maersk has ambitious vision to introduce a fleet of 18 large ocean-going vessels, each with a capacity ranging from 16,000 to 17,200 TEUs. The delivery of these vessels is scheduled between 2024 and 2025.
